Darktrace Recognized as Best Performing Company at the Megabuyte100 Awards
Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, today announced that it has been named the Best Performing Company in the ‘Security and Infrastructure’ category at the 2022 Megabuyte100 Awards.
The Megabuyte100 Awards recognize UK technology companies with excellent performance across key financial KPIs. In the ‘Security and Infrastructure’ category, the award winner must stand out among peers with high performance on the Megabuyte Scorecard, which assesses metrics such as revenue growth, EBITDA margin (as a guide to profitability) and cash flow. Megabuyte is the leading source of independent data and insights on UK technology and tech-enabled businesses relied on daily by over 2,000 CxOs, investors and advisers.
According to the Megabuyte View, Megabuyte’s evaluation of Darktrace via its Scorecard, “Darktrace has been a key UK technology company to watch for many years now, driven by its British founding story but strong international expansion and its ability to go toe-to-toe with the US cyber giants in terms of brand familiarity and sales execution. Subsequently, the company’s financial performance has been very growth-oriented, but its inclusion into the Megabuyte Scorecard comes on the back of a very profitable pre-IPO year, with the company looking to start focus more on profits and cash generation in the medium-term.”
“We are delighted to be recognized for Darktrace’s continued growth and strong underlying business model,” commented Cathy Graham, Chief Financial Officer, Darktrace. “Darktrace became a publicly listed company on the London Stock Exchange in 2021, and we have outperformed across all our key metrics since IPO. Underpinning our robust performance to date is the power of our Self-Learning AI technology, which continues to drive the business forward.”
