Darktrace Wins ‘Best AI Product in Security’ at CogX Awards
Darktrace, the world’s leading AI company for cyber defense, has today announced winning ‘Best AI Product in Security’ at the CogX Awards 2019 in London last night.
The CogX Awards celebrate the best in AI technologies around the world. Darktrace was recognized by judges for its self-learning cyber AI, which is modelled on the human immune system and used by over 3,000 organizations to detect and respond to emerging cyber-threats. Darktrace AI responds to a cyber-threat every 3 seconds, preventing it from causing damage.
This award is a fantastic recognition of Darktrace’s world-leading artificial intelligence,” said Poppy Gustafsson, CEO, Darktrace. ‘As security teams struggle to stay ahead of today’s sophisticated cyber-attacks, Darktrace AI autonomously identifies and fights back against cyber-attacks as they unfold.”
Darktrace executives Dave Palmer and Emily Orton are both speaking at CogX in London this week. As part of London Tech Week, Darktrace is also partnering with Wired AI: Pulse conference at the Barbican on Saturday 15th June, where CEO Nicole Eagan will present a keynote on Cyber AI.
Darktrace is the world’s leading machine learning company for cyber security. Created by mathematicians from the University of Cambridge, the Enterprise Immune System uses AI algorithms to automatically detect and take action against cyber-threats within all types of networks, including physical, cloud and virtualized networks, as well as IoT and industrial control systems. A self-configuring platform, Darktrace requires no prior set-up, identifying advanced threats in real time, including zero-days, insiders and stealthy, silent attackers. Headquartered in San Francisco and Cambridge, UK, Darktrace has 24 offices worldwide.
