Enterprise Immune System Named ‘AI Project Of The Year’
Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has today announced that the Enterprise Immune System has been named ‘Machine Learning/AI Project of the Year’ at the Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards held in London last night.
The prestigious awards program recognizes the achievements of the individuals and companies behind the latest technological innovations in the UK. The judging panel named Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System the ‘AI Project of the Year’ for its disruptive AI algorithms, which detect and fight back against in-progress cyber-attacks in real time.
Our brilliant engineering team has uniquely overcome the challenges associated with getting unsupervised machine learning working on live, complex networks,” commented Poppy Gustafsson, CEO, EMEA at Darktrace. “The Enterprise Immune System detects and battles pernicious threats without any assumptions of what ‘bad’ looks like, truly delivering on the promise of AI in cyber. We are delighted to receive the ‘AI Project of the Year’ award in recognition of this fundamental innovation.”
Darktrace is the world’s leading machine learning company for cyber security. Created by mathematicians from the University of Cambridge, the Enterprise Immune System uses AI algorithms to automatically detect and take action against cyber-threats within all types of networks, including physical, cloud and virtualized networks, as well as IoT and industrial control systems. A self-configuring platform, Darktrace requires no prior set-up, identifying advanced threats in real time, including zero-days, insiders and stealthy, silent attackers. Headquartered in San Francisco and Cambridge, UK, Darktrace has 23 offices worldwide.
