Darktrace Named ‘Best Security Technology’ at the Techies 2016

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has won the ‘Best Security Technology of the Year’ award at The Techies 2016. The award was presented to Darktrace during an awards ceremony held in London last night.

The Techies are Techworld’s inaugural awards celebrating UK technology innovation and digital disruption. Techworld’s expert judges emphasised the particular importance of the ‘Best Security Technology’ award, given the escalating issue of cyber attacks on organisations worldwide.

Darktrace is the first company in the world to arm defenders with proven machine learning and mathematics, developed by specialists from the University of Cambridge, that detects emerging cyber-threats, without any prior knowledge of attacks, rules or signatures. The business now has over 750 installations worldwide and has already discovered over 5,500 significant cyber incidents in customer networks.
