Leading Lifestyle Company Chooses Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System

Self-Learning Technology Deployed at Prestigious UK Service Provider
Cambridge, UK
December 8, 2015

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has announced that one of the UK’s most prominent lifestyle companies has chosen to deploy Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System across its complex network in order to defend its cyber security.

The publicly-listed company provides a wide range of services to retired people in the UK, from travel to insurance and legal advice. With over 2.5 million customers, it manages a vast dataset, containing sensitive, personally-identifiable information. The company places great importance on the longevity of its client relationships, data security and brand reputation and, as such, was looking for a technology that would reduce the risk posed from potential cyber attackers or insider threats.

Following a four-week Proof of Value (POV), the company decided to deploy Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System, due to the technology’s proven ability to detect abnormal behaviors and emerging threats within the organization, which had not been identified by any of its existing security tools. Darktrace is now installed across the company’s diverse corporate systems, providing it with 100% network visibility and enabling it to stay ahead of evolving threats, both insider and external.

“We are delighted to be working with such a forward-thinking company, taking proactive steps to defend its customers’ data, as well as safeguard the business’s long-term reputation,” said Nick Trim, Managing Director EMEA, Darktrace. “The Darktrace Enterprise Immune System now enables the organization to mitigate the risk that it faces on a continual basis, and maintain its stellar reputation as a reliable and resilient service-provider for retired people in the UK.”
