Risk Consultancy Vesper Partners with Darktrace to Deliver Next-Generation Cyber Defense

Strategic Partnership Extends Enterprise Immune System Technology Across Scandinavia and Worldwide
Cambridge, UK
December 17, 2015

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, and Vesper Group, a leading risk and security consultancy based in Sweden, have announced that they are joining forces to extend Darktrace’s award-winning technology to Vesper’s global customer base, transforming their ability to defend and protect themselves from rapidly-changing cyber threats.

Headquartered in Sweden, Vesper Group specializes in providing intelligence-led security solutions to corporations, governments and humanitarian organizations across the world, helping its customers safeguard critical physical and digital assets, as well as their staff and reputation. Vesper will now offer Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System across its customer base.

The Enterprise Immune System is a fundamentally novel technology, which uses unsupervised machine learning and probabilistic mathematics to identify anomalies within the network that indicate in-progress cyber-threats. By dynamically modeling behaviors of every user, device and network in real time, Darktrace is capable of detecting threats that bypass traditional security controls, allowing organizations to take timely remedial action. Using Darktrace's Threat Visualizer interface, customers also benefit from 100% visibility of their networks, which enables them to observe and investigate emerging security events and analyze abnormal or suspicious activity.

“At Vesper Group, we pride ourselves for our deep expertise in security intelligence, and are delighted to partner with Darktrace to deliver the most advanced threat detection technology on the market today, to our customers across the world,” said Erik Lewin, Managing Director at Vesper Group. “We believe that Darktrace’s ‘immune system’ approach is critical to our ability to understand complex and dynamic data environments, and ultimately to defend against some of the most sophisticated cyber-threats.”

“We are delighted to announce our strategic partnership with Vesper Group, who have proven expertise in the security field,” said Nick Trim, Managing Director EMEA, at Darktrace. “We look forward to working together to accelerate the adoption of the Enterprise Immune System, helping more organizations build resilient defense strategies and protect their information, assets and reputation amid today’s complex threat landscape.”
