May 27, 2015

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, announces today that it has partnered with M.Tech, a leading cyber security and network performance solutions provider, to extend Darktrace’s award-winning cyber defense technology across Asia-Pacific and Oceania.

Headquartered in Singapore, M.Tech specializes in integrated and intelligent end-to-end security infrastructure management, selectively working with market-leading solution providers to deliver best-of-breed cyber security to its customers. M.Tech will offer Darktrace across its customer base, as part of its network of 32 offices in 17 countries, including Singapore, Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia and New Zealand.

Named ‘Best Security Company of the Year’ in the Info Security Products Guide 2015, Darktrace is one of the world’s fastest-growing cyber threat defense companies. Its unique Enterprise Immune System, powered by mathematics and machine learning developed at the University of Cambridge, marks a new era of cyber defense by detecting advanced external and insider threats within computer networks, in real time, without requiring prior knowledge or rules.

“The addition of Darktrace to our product portfolio is an excellent fit as it not only increases our product offering but also enables us to provide our customers with a comprehensive suite of cyber security products and services,” said Stanley Foo, CEO of M.Tech. “We are excited to be appointed a strategic regional partner for Darktrace and look forward to a successful partnership.”

“The Enterprise Immune System fills a major gap in today’s security stack, which has traditionally been polarized between blocking threats, and reactively cleaning up after data breaches and compromises,” says Sanjay Aurora, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Darktrace. “We are delighted to join forces with M.Tech to extend our unique, self-learning defense technology to more organizations across Asia-Pacific, helping them understand what is happening within their networks and defend against dynamic, advanced cyber-threats.”
