Darktrace Wins Innovation Award

Enterprise Immune System Recognized as Most Innovative Technology by Business Intelligence Group
San Francisco
February 7, 2017

Darktrace, the leader in Enterprise Immune System technology, has today announced that its self-learning cyber security technology has won the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) Award for Innovation.

The BIG Innovation Awards recognize organizations that bring new ideas to life. Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System was selected for its fundamentally different approach to cyber defense. Unlike traditional approaches that focus on defending a network’s perimeter and rely on rules and signatures, Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System is the only self-learning technology that can detect cyber-threats at their nascent stages. It gains an understanding of the ‘pattern of life’ of every network, device, and user and identifies anomalies as they emerge.

This award is yet another testament to the sheer innovation of our technology,” commented Nicole Eagan, CEO, Darktrace. “We are in a new era of threat where sophisticated attacks are consistently bypassing legacy tools. The Enterprise Immune System has enabled the advent of self-defending networks that can inoculate themselves against threats within them, thus truly delivering on the promise of AI.”
